On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 29.07.2015, in der Nähe eines kleinen Bachs, wenige Laubbäume, rundherum Wiesen. Viele Steine, auch Pflastersteine und Ziegel, lehmige, torfige Erde, feucht. 500m üNn. Ca.7mm. Unter getrockneter Erde gefunden. Bin wieder bei Loricera pilicornis gelandet.

Request: 29.07.2015, hätte noch einen (wahrscheinlich) unbestimmbaren Ontholestes aus dem Garten (saß gleich neben dem Komposthaufen). Leider schon etwas düster + beginnender Regen. Wollte ihn noch einfangen, dann War er aber auch schon im Gras verschwunden. 500m üNn. Grob geschätzt ca. 15mm. Könnte das, rein hypothetisch, O. haroldi sein?

Request: ..wieder einen Laemophloeidae (Halsplattkäfer) beim Holzmachen gefunden, diesmal wohl einen anderen (vergleiche #31199)... ist dieser hier mit den schönen Zacken an der Halskrause bestimmbar???? 3 mm, 28.7.15 vermutlich bleibt er Punktlos....

Comment: Moin colombiera, Italien weist 21 Arten der Lampyridae. Wohl etwa die Hälfte davon kann ich mit meinem rudimentären wissen über diese Familie in Südeuropa ausschließen. Leider bleibt da noch die andere Hälfte, weshalb hier nicht mal ein Gattungsname drin ist. Viele Grüße, Klaas

Comment: Hi MiguelBk, it is hard to tell by this small photo, but I guess it is genus Calomicrus. Ususally in Centraleurope the one with the black and yellowish colouring is Calomicrus circumfusus, but I guess that one is not and I don't get on species level. Best regrds, Klaas
