On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Guten Abend! Just vor ein paar Minuten auf heute mal extra Minirunde mit dem Hund. Nach 5 Schritten lief mir dieser etwa bombardierkaefergrosse Kaefer ueber den Weg. Sehr, sehr flink; nur schlechte Telefonfotos. Auf die Schnelle finde ich nur Lebia chlorocephala dazu passend. Nach Schluessel wuerde Daemmerungstier, feuchte Wiesen, Lehmgrund, Waldrand alles passen, 11.05.2022. Vielleicht begegne ich ihm auch mal mit der richtigen Kamera. PS: Da die Bestimmung zu P. ferrugineus grad eintraf. Besten Dank! Hab ich wieder fehlvermutet. Gestern kamen mir aber auch Zweifel, traf dort drei Individuen wieder an, da konnt ich auch mal laenger und genauer zuschauen.
