On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 23.4.22, kleiner Käfer, ca. 2 mm, an einer lichten Stelle im Wald, ließ sich leider sehr schnell von seinem Brennnesselblatt fallen, daher keine besseren Bilder vorhanden. Kann man den Käfer dennoch bestimmen? Vielen lieben Dank für die Bestimmungshilfe!

Comment: Hallo Anna20, bestätigt als Stenopterapion tenue. Von Catapion kann man den ganz gut dadurch unterscheiden, dass die größte Körperbreite hinter der Mitte der Flügeldecken liegt. Die Catapion sind dagegen in der Mitte der FD am breitesten, also nicht so birnenförmig. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Der erste Tag unseres Kurzurlaubs ist fast geschafft, aber jetzt wird's nochmal schwierig, zumindest für mich: 2 kleine Rüssler, hier der erste.
