On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo rkoehler, hier habe ich ein Weibchen von Oxystoma ochropus in Verdacht. Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, der Käfer wirkt nur auf dem Foto so blau. Mir scheint die 1. Punktreihe der Flügeldecken nicht zu O. pomorum zu passen. Sorry und viele Grüße, Corinna

Request: Guten Abend, ein ziemlich großer, aber leider auch sehr agiler Rüssler, zu dem ich nichts Passendes finde. Gekeschert habe ich ihn an einem Kreuzblütler, der in allen Teilen aussieht wie Hirtentäschel, nur sehr viel größer. Bei Dietersheim, 15.05.2022. P.S.: Herzlichen Dank, Corinna, für deinen Zeitaufwand für meinen Otiorhynchus! Dein cf.-Vorschlag sieht für mein Laienhirn perfekt aus, auch wenn die Slowakei schon arg weit weg ist! Comment: Hallo Wolfgang, das ist Ceutorhynchus napi, der zahlreiche Arten von Kreuzblütler liebt. In Deutschland ist er anscheinend bevorzugt an Raps zu finden, aber ich entdecke den meist auf Fensterbänken oder Wänden ^^. Danke für die Meldung. Tja, der Otiorhynchus ist sehr spannend.
