On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo Käferteam,
heute mal keine Anfrage, sondern eine Meldung, weil er so selten ist. Lytta vesicatoria, gefunden am 26. Mai 2022. Die Größe schien mir allerdings die angegebenen 9-21 mm zu übertreffen. Ich habe den Käfer auf 24 mm geschätzt. Leider war es sehr windig, deshalb waren keine Detailaufnahmen möglich. Der Käfer schien schon älter zu sein. Ich konnte mehrere Abnutzungsspuren auf den Flügeln erkennen. Auch das eine Hinterbein, man kann es auf dem Foto erkennen, sah nicht mehr ganz jungfräulich aus.
