On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Zwischen anderen Insekten hatte mein Mann dieses kleine lustige Kerlchen noch fotografiert in meinem Garten. Er sitzt auf einem Akeleiblatt. Könnt ihr ihn zu vielleicht zu einer Gattung zuteilen? An Art wage ich gar nicht zu denken. Vielen liegen Dank für Eure stets interessanten Bestimmungshilfe!

Request: Hallo, 26.05.2022, ehemaliges Bundeswehrübungsgelände am Windhof bei Kusel, diesen Käfer an der Blattrosette von Natternkopf habe ich dort in den letzten Wochen immer wieder vereinzelt gesehen und vergebens versucht zu fotografieren, die sind leider sehr sprunghafte Wesen. Das heutige Foto ist auch nicht optimal, aber könnte es Longitarsus echii sein?.
