On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Lennart, ja der gehört zur Gattung Trixagus. Die sind vor wenigen Jahren revidiert worden. Dabei kam es zur Abspaltung einiger Arten, so dass hier am Bild heute gar nichts mehr geht, weil die nur noch über das Genital sicher ansprechbar sind. LG, Christoph

Request: Hallo zusammen, diesen kleinen Spitzmausrüssler konnte ich in der trockenen Frucht einer "Strauchrose" finden (meine Nachbarin nannte die so - obwohl die Früchte keine Hagebutten waren - bei Bedarf kann ich´s fotografieren) Hat Spaß gemacht diesen Käfer zu fotografieren. Die Größe ist auf Bild 3 zu sehen. (02.09.15) Handelt es sich um ein Weibchen von Rhopalapion longirostre (Bild1+2) und das Männchen (Bild3)? Lieben Gruß und Dank, Christoph
