On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Ich habe eingefügten weißes Nesr gefunden und ca 60 cm davon entfernt eine handvoll dieser Raupen? Entweder warne diese tot oder es waren nur noch Hüllen.
Ich hätte Holzwurm und Hausbock ausgeschlossen?
Um was handelt es sich?

Comment: Hallo Fenria, herzlich willkommen auf kerbtier.de! Also soweit man sehen kann, könnte es sich um eine Dermestiden-larve handeln. Es wäre denkbar, dass diese gar nicht der initiale Bewohner dieses Kokons war, sondern sich dort z.B. über eine abgestreifte Larvenhaut hergemacht hat. Aber das freilich Spekulation. LG, Christoph
