On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

gestern fand ich unter altem moderndem Heu diesen 2,9 mm großen Staphyliniden (bei Furth im Wald, Bayerischer Wald). Handelt es sich hierbei um Myrmecocephalus concinna?

Comment: Moin Ruth, da hast Du aber weit in die Trickkiste gegriffen. Entweder hast Du die falschen Bilder eingestellt oder du warst gedanklich ganz woanders. Dass das keine Coccinellidae ist, weißt Du. Da bin ich mir absolut sicher. Es ist Cryptocephalus aureolus. Nur bei Bild C bin ich mir nicht sicher, weil der eigentlich zu lang ist, aber außer Habitus ist nichts verwertbares erkennbar. Viele Grüße, Klaas

diesen Tachinus fand ich gestern bei Furth im Wald, Bayerischer Wald unter altem Gras. Da er nur 3,5 mm misst denke ich das sollte T. corticinus sein. Über eine Bestätigung (oder Berichtigung) wäre ich aber trotzdem dankbar.
