On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Kryp, das ist Strophosoma capitatum. LG, Christoph Ich weiß ja nicht, aber die Börstchen sind ganz schön rund und der Kopf nicht so eckig. Wenn das mal nicht Sciaphilus asperatus ist? Comment: Hallo Syrphus, ich bin für Strophosoma capitatum. Der Schulterwinkel sieht recht flach aus und der Käfer entsprechend schmal, also wie ein Männchen von S. capitatum. Bei S. melanogrammum gibt es keine Männchen. Ich lasse mal stehen, damit es da eine Zweitmeinung gibt. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger Seh ich auch so. LG, Christoph
