On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo zusammen, dieser ca. 4,5 mm kleine "schokobraune" Marienkäfer lag heute morgen in meinem Fenstersturz und wollte dort wohl überwintern?! Das müßte dann wohl ein Aphidecta obliterata sein, oder? Fundort: Niedersachsen, Göttingen, Stadtgebiet, am Haus (und weit und breit kein Nadelwald), 23.10.2015, Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße, Christian.
