On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Funddatum: 02.09.2022. Habe mich mal auf die Suche von Käfern gemacht, die man nicht auf den ersten Blick sieht. Fundort: NSG Rotwildpark Stuttgart, nordwestlich vom Bärenschlössle unter der Borke eines von einer alten Buche abgebrochenen Astes (s. Foto); Körperlänge: nachträglich geschätzt ca. 8 mm; Art: Bin mir nicht mal ganz sicher, ob es sich hier um eine Käferlarve handelt.

Stelle deshalb auch ein Bild ein, auf dem der Käfer nicht zu bestimmen ist, das ich aber ästhetisch schön finde; ich hoffe, das ist OK; Art: Kann man hier mehr sagen, als dass es sich um einen Borlenkäfer handelt?
