Comment: Hallo Naturbursche08, die Gattung Blaps ist mit zahlreichen Arten nur paläarktisch verbreitet. In Nordamerika gibt es nur zwei (eingeschleppte) Blaps-Arten. Hier handelt es sich um einen Vertreter der in Nordamerika artenreichen Gattung Eleodes, eventuell E. caudifera. Ich bin aber kein Experte für die nordamerikanische Schwarzkäfer-Fauna. LG, Christoph
