On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: das ist Gasterocercus depressirostris. Lebt im Holz von kränkelnden Eichen, oft in solchen, die auch anderen seltenen Arten Wohnraum bieten, wie z.B. dem Heldbock ("Heldbockeichen"). Bevorzugter Lebensraum sind demnach ursprüngliche, naturnahe Eichenwälder, besonders in den großen Flusstälern. Der hat in den letzten Jahren etwas zulegen können (Klimaerwärmung und wieder steigender Totholzanteil in den Wäldern), trotzdem immer noch ein super Fund. Danke für die Meldung. LG, Christoph
