On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Eine Amara von der Saale, 31.5.22, 7.5 mm. Kein Scutellarpunkt etc. Leider sieht es in A so aus, als wäre die Series umbilicata unterbrochen, dann ist es nicht convexior sondern es bleibt beim communis-Komplex. Richtig? Danke und LG

Request: 18.11.2022, Mainz Garten. Der Fruchtkörper vom Birkenporling war vor einigen Jahren in etwa 8 m Höhe aufgetaucht, jedes Jahr kommt er ca 1 m tiefer raus, alles über ihm fällt über kurz oder lang dem Wind zum Opfer, dieses Jahr ist er auf Augenhöhe angekommen und gerade eben hab ich 8 (!) Pärchen Tetratoma fungorum erwischt. Käferfreude im November.
