On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: This one, at Home/Greenhouse, Maia/North Portuhal, on 09/07/2010, was identified by my friend Ana Rita Gonçalves, a young and very intelligent Portuguese entomologist, on 23/04/2013. About ~0,6 cm in length.
But now, looking my records of that time, is it P. atra??

Request: 10.3.2023; Wiener Kahlenberg; ca. 4mm; Hallo, hier geht's um den Kurzflügler in der Mitte zw. Ceutorhynchus pallidactylus und Mecinus (Gymnetron) rotundicolle. Hab leider nur dieses eine Foto, aber vielleicht lässt sich zur Staphylidae Spezies was sagen. In der Nähe gab's jede Menge Tachyporus hypnorum, aber das ist dieses Exemplar sicher nicht.
