On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Arian, das ist aus meiner Sicht Rabocerus gabrieli. Den habe ich aber noch nie selbst gefunden und R. foveolatus ist ähnlich nur feiner punktiert. Daher muss da noch mal jemand draufsehen, nicht dass ich komplett daneben liege. Danke für die Meldung. Request: Lieber Kerbtierteam,
heute 25.03.2023 fand ich oberhalb Epolding unter der Rinde eines verpilzten liegenden Baumstamms diesen ca. 2,5mm großen Pilzkugelkäfer mit auffälligem Horn auf dem linken Mandibel. Mit dem coleonet-Schlüssel bin ich zur Untergattung Cyphocebele und weiter zur Art Agathidium discoideum. Vielen Dank

LG, Christoph Hannes wies mich noch darauf hin: Das ist der erste Nachweis für Deutschland überhaupt nach 2000. LG, Christoph :) Oh weh, zu früh gefreut: Hier muss ich Wasser in den Wein gießen: Die verlängerten Hinteraugenflächen von Cyphoceble fehlen und er hat ein verlängertes 3. Fühlerglied. Es ist daher wahrscheinlich ein Vertreter von Neoceble und damit fast nicht bestimmbar. Wenn man mal nicht ganz päpstlich ist, kann man ihn mit dem Horn und dem langen 3. Fühlerglied zu A. mandibulare machen. LG, Christoph

Request: An einem Fruchtkörper von Trametes suaveolens fand ich diesen Käfer von ca 1,5mm mit unregelmäßig verteilten Borsten. Leider war bei der Größe kein gutes Foto möglich. Ich habe mich dennoch länger damit beschäftig (z.B. https://coleonet.de/coleo/texte/sulcacis.htm) und bin auf Sulcacis fronticornis gestoßen. 07.04.2023
