On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 15.04.2023 diverse hiervon in der Unterführung. 7,5 - 8 mm die beiden die ich gemessen habe. Die hatten nen sehr puschelligen Halsschild und waren nach hinten erweitert, also nicht pilula. Die Unterseite weisst überall kurze schlecht sichtbare weiße und goldenen Haare auf (Bild 3, sieht man wenn man vergrößert). Müsste Byrrhus fasciatus sein, da zu groß für pustulatus und passt irgendwie nicht gut zu arietinus.

Request: 10.04.2023 2,6-2,7 mm an einer Hauswand in Ginsheim. Dachte erst es wäre Chaetocnema hortensis, ist aber zu groß, zu ordentlich punktiert und das erste Fühlerglied ist dunkel und der Käfer ist bei Normallicht nahezu schwarz. Für arida auch zu groß und zu ordentlich punktiert, also Chaetocnema aridula.

Request: 14.04.2023 Unterführung Nähe Mainzer Sand. Die Käfer die da reinfallen kommen meist nicht wieder raus, was es zu einem guten Fundplatz macht. Ich hatte natürlich mal wieder Pech, fast nur Carabiden (harpalus pumilus zum totschmeissen, Ophonus azureus Amara sp. ......) Aus Verzweiflung hab ich den hier abgelichtet, bevor er auf die Fahrbahn fliegen konnte. Cicindela campestris
