Similar is L. albomarginatus, but there the lower border of the marginal band at the level of the pronotum is parallel. Das ist Lebia chlorocephala. Dieser hübsche Käfer ist ziemlich unverwechselbar, lediglich Lebia cyanocephala ist auf den ersten Blick ähnlich, hat aber nie ganz rotgelbe Schenkel.
