On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Thoma2008, hier vermute ich einen Chaetocnema confusa, aber leider mit ziemlicher Unsicherheit. Die Gattung erkennt man hier übrigens am Dorn außen an den Mittelschienen, die haben sonst keine der Hüpftiere. Auch die Hinterschienen haben einen solchen Dorn, den sieht man hier nur nicht wegen der Perspektive. Viele Grüße, Corinna

Comment: Hallo Kakipete, hier geht es auch für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Ceutorhynchus. Ich vermute ein C. napi oder auch C. obstrictus, der sieht aber für beide Optionen nicht so typisch aus. In Foto C sieht man sehr schön die lustige Angewohnheit der Tiere, beim Abflug die mittleren Beinchen in die Luft zu strecken :D. Muss was Flugtechnisches sein, mir macht es einfach immer wieder gute Laune. Viele Grüße, Corinna
