On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo; mein erster Oelkaefer hier. Ich hatte schon mal Ausschau gehalten, aber nie welche gefunden. Heute dann als Zufallsfund ein Maiwurm am 1. Mai. Eifrig umhersuchend und Loecher grabend, knapp 3cm, ich vermute Meloe proscarabaeus.

Request: Dieser 2 bis 3 mm große Käfer ist einer von einer riesigen Menge, die ich heute, 01.05.2023 am Rand eines Feuchtgebietes gefunden habe. Ich hoffe, es ist in Ordnung, dass ich mehrere Exemplare in die Anfrage integriert habe. So habe ich die Hoffnung, dass eines der Bilder zur Bestimmung führt.
