On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebes Käferteam, 05.05.2023, bei Bovernier (Kanton Wallis, ca. 620m ü.M.), ein Schnellkäfer, ca. 12mm, an gefälltem Baumstamm bei Sägerei. Ein roter Ampedus, also wahrscheinlich nicht bis zur Art bestimmbar, aber die Furche hinten in der Mitte des Halsschildes gibt mir eine leichte Hoffnung, dass es Ampedus sanguineus sein könnte.
