On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo FrodoNRW, das ist Baris coerulescens. In Foto C liegt zwar der untere Teil des Halsschilds im Schatten, so dass man die dortige Punktierung nicht sehen kann. Aber die Körperform und dichte Punktierung des Halsschilds schließen den lepidii aus, und weiter geht's dann mit coerulescens oder fallax. Letzterer lebt an Färberwaid und hat nicht diese deutlich punktfreie Mittellinie auf dem Halsschild. B. coerulescens wohnt an Kreuzblütlern, passt auch perfekt. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Corinna Ui, ich seh grad - das ist ein Wiederfund seit weit über 100 Jahren für Westfalen! Very nice indeed :).
