On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

hier eine Carabiden-Larve., Größe ca- 20 mm, Aufnahmen vom 14.05.2023. Sie attackierte den deutlich größeren Regenwurm, der danach bewegungslos liegen blieb. Kann man hier zu einer Gattung kommen?

Comment: Hallo Wolfgang, hier geht es für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Tychius. Der stephensi scheidet aus, weil er nicht so einen stark zugespitzen Rüssel hat. Ich hätte hier eher Weibchen von meliloti gesagt, wobei die Innenseite der Vorderschienen dafür zu gerade erscheint. Da komme ich leider nicht weiter. Viele Grüße, Corinna
