On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Found this one of 7.5 mm under the bark of a dead tree in een forest in Dorst, southern part of the Netherlands on 18.03.2016. It's a Staphylinidae, but is there anyting to say about a specie or a genus?

Request: Liebes Käferteam,
wahrscheinlich ist dieser "Drahtwurm" nach dem Foto nicht zu bestimmen, aber vielleicht doch die Familie? Gefunden von Wolfgang unter morschem Holzstamm am Waldrand zur Wiese hin im Zellbachtal, am 18.3.2016, Länge ca. 2,5 cm.

Ist er bestimmbar?
Holotrichapion sp. oder doch eher Acanephodus onopordi ???
Sorry für die Unschärfe der Bilder, aber hier ist das Limit meiner Kamera (und meiner Fotofertigkeit) überschritten.
Fundort: Engerser Feld (bei Engers/Neuwied, MTB Bendorf 5511/) unter einem Stein (ungewöhnlich für einen Apionidae) .
Funddatum: 22.03.16
Größe: (so gut es ging gemessen) 2,0 bis 2,5 mm
