On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo, 05.06.2023, ehemaliges Bundeswehrübungsgelände am Oedesberg bei Kusel an einer Besenginsterblüte, 4-5mm. Der Käfer hat sich, als ich mich näherte in der Blüte versteckt.
Ich vermute passend zur Fundpflanze Anthaxia mendizabali.

Request: 2023-06-06, ca. 4 mm. Vor einigen Wochen habe ich von einem abgestorbenen Fliederast Baumpilze (Trametes versicolor?) abgenommen und in ein glas deponiet, weil ich eine Larve gesehen hatte.
Heute habe ich nach einiger Zeit das Material gesichtet und diesen Käfer gefunden.
