On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Heja, wenn ich mir den Halsschild genau betrachte, muss es eine Absidia sein. Mit der rotgelben Farbe vermutlich Absidia testacea, aber ganz sicher bin ich nicht. Ich warte mal auf eine weitere Meinung.. lg, Gernot Möglich, aber ich bleibe auch unsicher. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo katrit, C. rufa wird ein Stück größer, außerdem passt der Halsschild und auch die Fareb nicht ganz. Das ist aus meiner Sicht eine Absidia, da kommen allerdings zwei sehr ähnlich Arten in Frage: A. rufotestacea und A. schoenherri. Von der Farbe her tendiere ich zu testacea. 100% unterscheidbar wohl nur per Genital. Danke für die Meldung. lg, Gernot

Comment: Hallo Birgit, der ist interessant! Kein Cantharis (guck dir mal den Halsschild an). Er gehört in die Gattung Podistra (früher Absidia). Da gibt es eine handvoll Arten, alle monatan, und eigentlich nucr nach dem männlichen Genital zu bestimmen. Viele Grüße, Michael Aus Gründen der Datenbankkonsistenz auf Absidia umgestellt.
