On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Moin kdjong, ich kenne mich in Belarus nicht mit der Käferfauna aus. Sicher ist, dass dieser Käfer zur Gattung Chalcophora gehört. Meiner Meinung nach ist das der auch in der BRD vorkommende Chalcophora mariana, aber ich weiß nicht, ob es in Belarus Verwechselungsarten gibt. Request: 12.04.2016 Ein zweiter Laufkäfer, kleiner als der erste. Könnte das Agonum sexpunctatum sein, auch wenn mann die Punkte auf den Flügeldecken nicht sieht? Die Form des Halsschildes kommt hin. Auch die Größe in Bezug auf Poecilus cupreus/versicolor. Urbane Bebauung, 780 m ü. NN, Ferpicloz. Viele Grüße

Comment: Hallo Jozef, hier in Deutschland sollte das Aulacobaris picicornis sein, der lebt eigentlich an Reseda. Meerrettich ist ja was die Inhaltsstoffe angeht nicht so ohne. Ich weiss nicht, was im östlichen Mitteleuropa noch so dazu kommt. Da ist in der Slowakei sicher noch anderes zu erwarten. Ist mir in den Zwischenräumen auch etwas zu schwach punktiert für picicornis. Viele Grüße, Michael

Request: Sollte wohl wieder eine Cryptocephalus-Larve sein. Die habe ich zuletzt recht häufig gesehen. Diese hier hat ein besonders hübsches Larvensäckchen mit eleganten Streifen; ob das bei der Bestimmung hilft? ;-) Lief über den Boden in einer kleinen Baumgruppe. Der Larvensack ist ca. 3mm lang, 03.04.2016

Comment: Hallo zimorodek, ich würde Dir vorsichtig bei Gattung Cryptocephalus zustimmen, aber in Ermangelung tiefer Blattkäfer-Larvenkenntnisse mit Vorbehalt. Auch die Vertreter der Unterfamilie Clytrinae machen solche Tönnchen, die allerdings etwas größer as 3 mm lang sein sollten. LG, Christoph
