On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

am 01.07.23 im Bereich unterhalb eines alten Eichenbestandes angetroffen, ca. 5 - 6 mm groß und ich vermute Curculio glandium ?!?

Comment: Hallo Sony, das ist wahrscheinlich Curculio venosus. Wobei die erhabene Naht samt Schuppenkamm nicht wirklich sehr deutlich zu sehen ist. Daher kann ich den C. pellitus nicht ausschliessen. Um die beiden zu trennen, müsste man den Hinterschenkelzahn genau sehen können. Viele Grüße, Corinna
