On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo liebes Käferteam, ich muss mich zuerst für dieses Foto entschuldigen. Aber da ich mich so gefreut habe, dass ich ihn gefunden habe, versuche ich es trotzdem, ihn zu melden. Ich habe ihn direkt an einem abgestorbenen Habitatbaum, eine Buche, gefunden. Und ich bin mir ziemlich sicher dass es sich um Leptura aurulenta handelt. Leider war im Wald das Licht für meine Kamera viel zu dunkel, deshalb gelang kein richtiges Bild. Länge ca. 2 cm, gefunden, heute, 15.07.2023. Wenns zu schlecht ist, dann einfach löschen. Vielen Dank fürs Versuchen. Viele Grüße Sabine
