On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo FrodoNRW, ich halte den für einen Calathus erratus. Leider fehlt etwas die Schärfe, wodurch man die Porenpunkte auf den Flügeldecken nur erahnen kann. C. ambiguus kam für mich zunächst auch in Betracht, da müsste aber der Halsschild gleichmäßiger nach vorne verengt sein. Trotzdem brauche ich hier noch eine Zweitmeinung. Request: 30.07.2023, ca. 1-1,5 cm, Gestalt eher Amphodiusartig, nicht so bullig wie Onthophagus; unter Kuhfladen auf sehr extensiv genutzter Naturschutzweide am Waldrand. Der verschwand leider sehr schnell. Da Hinterende der Deckflügel kommt mir doch recht markant vor, sonst würde ich das nicht einreichen
