On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Bei dem komme ich nicht weit, das einzige, was ich gefunden habe ist Scirtes tibialis, aber der kommt hier nicht vor...bin ratlos! Ich glaube, der saß auf einer Weide, in Gewässernähe, ca. 3 mm, 02.08.2023

Comment: Hallo FrodoNRW, doch doch, die Gattung passt schon. Das ist aus meiner Sicht Scirtes orbicularis. Vom sehr ähnlichen hemisphaericus unter anderem durch die Punktierung (eher querverrunzelt) zu unterscheiden. Mit etwas Restunsicherheit. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Daniel
