On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Someone told me (Rafa Obregon) as possibly MELYRIDAE Dasytes terminales, but in fact isn't registered (yet?) on Naturdata site. Thanks for all your help in all ID's.

Request: Auch hier tippe ich auf 2x Curculio glandium, Weibchen Foto A, Männchen Foto B+C. Obwohl ich auf Foto C meinte, nen Borstenkamm zu sehen, aber täuscht das? Ich krieg sonst die Merkmale nicht zusammengebacken. Länge 5mm (A) und 6mm (B+C), gefunden auf Eiche im Kölner Grüngürtel, 57m üNN, am 24.04.2016. Sorry, falls es doch unterschiedliche Arten sind. diesen recht großen Rüssler, geschätzt 8 mm, fand ich am 19.10.15 in Italien am Gardasee bei Limone an einer Hauswand. Ist eine Artbestimmung möglich? Vielleicht Otiorhynchus sulcatus?

Comment: Hallo Ruth, das ist entweder C. humeralis, ohne glatte, punktfreie Halsschildmittellinie, der lebt an Eiche. Oder C. femorata mit besagter Mittellinie, an Kiefer. Bei Deinem Tier tendiere ich zu ersterem, aber man bräuchte eine größere Aufnahme des Halsschilds, um ganz sicher zu sein. LG, Lukas
