On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 03.09.2023, ca. 8 mm. Noch weiß ich nicht exakt, um was für einen Käfer es sich handelt, aber er gefiel mir so gut, dass ich ihn für die 1000. Anfrage ausgewählt habe und hoffe, er lässt sich bestimmen. Er saß am Rand eines Wassergrabens im Schilfbereich und ließ sich kurz fotografieren, bevor er sich fallen ließ.
Ich möchte mich in diesem Zusammenhang auch noch einmal ausdrücklich für die wahnsinnig tolle Arbeit, die Ihr in dieses Projekt steckt bedanken! Ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn ich mit einer Beobachtung eine neue Art in einem MTB finde, was aber in der Regel nur durch Eure oft superschnelle Bestimmung funktioniert. Ihr seid ein tolles Team und ich hoffe, noch viele Beobachtungen einreichen zu dürfen!

Comment: Hallo rkoehler, aktuell würde ich den in der Gegend noch ohne Draufsicht und ohne Seitenansicht mit close auf die Flügeldeckenenden zu Lixus ochraceus bestimmen, was ein guter Fund ist.
