On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Jörg, Scymnus ferrugatus erscheint anhand der größerflächigen Halsschildfärbung plausibel, aber bei den Schärfeverhältnissen kann ich den etwas kleineren und schlankeren S. haemorrhoidalis nicht ausschließen. Trotzdem, Danke für das Retten aus der Biotonne, Bei Gartenabschnitt geht da einiges an Tierchen mit rein. Viele Grüße, Heike

Request: 03.09.2023, auf Waldweg an einer toten Nacktschnecke, sich nach der Störung durch mich totstellend, während die Milben hektisch um und auf ihm herumliefen :) Necrophorus vespilloides(?), der hatte glaub ich gerade Hinterschienen, geschätzt ca 17mm gross, präsentierte sich halt nur so zusammengekrümmt (KI: 23%, Rang 1).
