On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebes Käferteam,
gefunden auf einer feuchten Waldwiese im Vorderen Oberpfälzer Wald. Größe ca. 8 mm. Sollte Dalopius marginatus sein.
@Klaas: Manchmal habe ich leider nur 1 Foto. Der hier z.B. flog einfach weg. Aber ich gebe mein Bestes, um euch die Arbeit zu erleichtern, und mach auch, wenn`s geht, meine Bilder seit letztem Mal größer!

das hier gezeigte Tier habe ich gestern (01.05.2016) in Hattingen (Henrichspark) beobachtet. Es war circa 5 mm groß und hielt sich in der Nähe von Birken und einigen anderen Laubbäumen, darunter Kastanien und Schwarzerlen, auf. Vielleicht könnt Ihr mir ja sagen, wer das ist? Danke schon mal für Eure Mühen!

Request: Hallo, liebes Käferteam,
einer für die "sp.-Liste"; vermutlich Pilonthus; Größe ca. 10 mm, gefunden am 30.4.2016 an einer Gartenmauer in Bad Rotenfels/Gaggenau. Ich werde sie trotzdem weiter melden, falls ja doch einmal einer dabei ist, den man zuordnen kann. Falls das nicht gewünscht wird, einfach ein kurzer Hinweis.
