On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo Frank, ich halte den für einen Cantharis pagana. Danke für die Meldung. lg, Gernot Hallo Frank und Gerold, ja der sieht komisch aus, aber bei pagana schiebt sich eine solide schwarze Zunge vom dunklen Hinterkopf bis zum Vorderrand der Fühlerwurzeln (wie so nen schwarzes Dreieck), bei nigricans sind es zwei mini Züngelchen entlang der Fühlerwurzel (nicht bis zum Vorderrand) die aber den Bereich in der Mitte gelb lassen, das sieht hier eher danach aus. Beim pagana-Komplex ist zudem nur ein schmaler Saum außen am Halsschild hell, die Mitte solide dunkel. Hier eher der wie bei nigricans nach vorne verbreiterte helle Bereich. Daher ist das wahrscheinlich Cantharis nigricans. Viele Grüße, Holger
