On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo; auf diese Art hatte ich bereits gehofft, nachdem ich sie letztes Jahr in Hann. Münden fand (#349088) und sie ja nicht selten sein soll. Gestern war klar, dass ich nicht losziehen konnte, daher nur 'ne Runde in und um den Garten. An einer Fichte fiel dann eine neue Ameisenstrasse auf und tatsächlich wenigstens drei Exemplare von Amphotis marginata dran. Längen sehr unterschiedlich, 18.09.2023. Die Ameisen waren sicherlich neu dort, und anscheinend haben sie die Käfer gleich mitgebracht.
PS: Unter dem Titel "Futterbetteln bei Ameisen" findet sich per Suchmaschine eine schöne kleine Doku. vom IWF Göttingen von 1974.
