On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Es ist so schade, dass ihr die Internetseite einstellt. Sie ist mustergültig und verdinete es, weiter betrieben zu werden. Danke für eure viele Arbeit, für das geduldige Bestimmen manchmal anhand von nicht ganz optimalen Fotos, für die erläuternden Erklärungen, Hinweise und Anregungen. Ich wollte die 2000 erreichen! Das nächste Frühjahr wird traurig. Selbst auf meinem Urlaub in der Toscana - nichts ahnend - konnte ich es nicht lassen. Ein Totfund am Straßenrand, Richtung Mistkäfer, bestimmbar? 2023.10.18, 21 mm. Comment: Hallo mmk, das ist wahrscheinlich Lixus albomarginatus. Leider gibt es in Italien aber auch noch die extrem ähnliche Art L. ascanii (die in D. nicht vorkommt). Vergleichsfotos sind tatsächlich sehr überzeugend, so dass ich hier lieber vorsichtig bin. Viele Grüße, Corinna
