Comment: Moin wenix, den haben wir jetzt ewig lange durchgehechelt. Hat ein wenig Geduld und Nerven gekostet, aber wir sind uns meanwhile einig, dass es sich um Cidnopus pilosus handelt. Viele Grüße, Klaas Hallo wenix, du hast Recht auch für mich leider nur bis zur Gattung Hemicrepidius. Cidpil hat 2 Glied kurz, drittes länger, aber kaum erweitert, Hemisp haben 2 Fühlerglied auch kurz, drittes auch länger, aber fast so stark erweitert wie das 4te, dazu noch Halsschild länger als breit....Viele Grüße, Holger

Request: In dieser Situation nehme ich mir mal heraus, sofort eine zweite Meldung zum gleichen Tier einzureichen (-> 438597), Catops sp. vom 8.10.23. Dies ist das beste Bild vom Halsschild. Die breiteste Stelle ist m.E. in Höhe der Hinterkante des linken Vorderschenkels... also doch sehr weit hinten. Sieht für mich also nach fuscus aus. Also Catops sp.? Lieben Dank und Gruß, Kalli

Request: Ein Mal will ich Euch noch quälen... Ein Catops sp., der am 8.10.23 auf einem Waldweg zu einem Hundehaufen hinlief. Schieferglanz, Halsschild vorne+hinten verschmälert, HSch ohne eingestochene Punkte, weniger stark und weniger dicht skulptiert. Fühler schlank, 6. FGl. länger als breit. Wenn wir uns darauf einigen können, dass der HSch hinter der Mitte am breitesten ist (siehe dazu auch nächste Meldung), ist es Catops fuscus: Kopf und Hsch nicht stark glänzend, HSch-Basis nicht ausgebuchtet. Kleiner (leicht gekrümmt 3.9 mm), Spuren von Streifen auf den Fld. sichtbar. -> fuscus. picipes scheidet definitiv aus. Gleich geht's weiter...

Request: Es geht auf's Ende zu... hier noch ein Harpalus vom 8.5.23 auf einer sandigen Brache, 9.5 mm. Zwei/drei Punkte im 3. Streifen, davon einer vor der Mitte, alle Anhänge gelb, Habitus, Halsschildseitenrand rötlich. Außerdem sieht man in C schwach mindestens einen Apikalpunkt -> Harpalus autumnalis. Hatte ich auf dieser Fläche im Oktober schon. Danke und LG, Kalli

Request: Bei diesem Taphrorychus (2.2 mm) vom 8.10.23 unter Buchenrinde wunderte ich mich erst, dass der Absturz so verrundet aussieht - bis ich merkte, dass nur die Männchen von bicolor da so scharf begrenzt sind. Außerdem ist villifrons in HS gar nicht gemeldet. Von daher ist dieser Taphrorychus bicolor hier nichts Neues, aber in Bild B sieht man mal schön das Haarbüschel auf der Stirn und in Bild C (Mitte) den Glanz des Kopfs. Daher zu Dokuzwecken doch gemeldet. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße

Ähnliche Tiere gibt's auf iNat übrigens als Trypocopris pyrenaeus splendens bestimmt - hmm, also ich weiss nicht, wunderschöner Misti jedenfalls! (und wenn dort zwei derselben Meinung sind, hat das gleich Forschungsqualität, versteh ich das richtig - hab mich jetzt aber auch nicht wirklich da eingelesen) Sorry für's Abschweifen - es gibt keinen Ersatz für euch!
