On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Liebe Käfer-Experten,
diesen flinken kleinen Kerl (ca. 4 mm lang) habe ich gestern, am 09.05.2016, im Botanischen Garten der Ruhr-Universität Bochum gesehen. Leider konnte ich das Tier nicht scharf abbilden, weil es sich immerzu bewegt hat. Kopf und Halsschild waren deutlich punktiert. In Eurer Fotosammlung bin ich bei Onthophagus sp. gelandet, weiter komme ich jedoch nicht. Vielleicht könnt Ihr den Kleinen ja auf Artebene benennen? Ich würde mich sehr darüber freuen.
