On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

  Hallo Günther, es kommen drei Arten in Frage, allesamt auf Verbascum: C. hortulanus, thapsus und nigritarsis. Das ist am Foto nicht festzumachen. Es sei denn, man hätte den Aedoeagus des Männchens fotographiert ;-). Der schwarze Fleck kommt durch schwarze Beschuppung zustande. LG, Christoph

  Hallo MiMa, in Frage kommen die beiden Verwechslungsarten C. obscura (im ganzen Bundesgebiet) und C. paradoxa (nördlich bis Nordrhein, Hessen, Thüringen). Sicher können die beiden nur am Aedoeagus des Männchens getrennt werden. Wobei - Klaas beschäftigt sich gerade mit den beiden intensiver, vielleicht kann er noch weitere Erkenntnisse mit uns teilen. LG, Christoph   Ich steuer mal bei: aufgrund der Färbung des Halsschildes hat man zumindest schon mal einen Anhaltspunkt, dass es richtung C. paradoxa gehen könnte. Die Seitenränder sprächen dann Bände, wenn er platt von oben aufgenommen wäre. So bleibt es bei der Vermutung, dass es C. paradoxa ist. Viele Grüße, Klaas
