On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 25.05.2016 ca. 5 mm viele an Gras im ehemaligen Steinbruch Mainz. Den hab ich nur wegen der so schön ausgestülpten Blasebälge eingereicht. Als er wieder auf dem Boden saß, sah er wie ein normales Männchen von Malachius bipustulatus aus, bloß war da kein roter Vorderrand erkennbar, nur was soll es sonst sein?

Request: 29.05.2016 3,5 mm gemessen an mm Papier (in jedem Fall größer als 3 mm). Männchen von Axinotarsus pulicarius. Fand ich auch mit dem Schlüssel schwer, da die Fühlerglieder unten alle rot sind, s. Bild 3 und die Vorderschienen Unterseits gelblich angehaucht sind. Letztlich gibt die extreme Fühlerlänge und die Größe den Ausschlag.
