On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hallo MayForrest, das ist ein Vertreter der Schnellkäfer (Familie Elateridae). An den vorliegenden Fotos kann ich Gattung und Art leider nicht festmachen. Auf dem Rücken trägt er Milben. In der Menge habe ich das allerdings noch nicht gesehen. LG, Christoph

Request: Ein zweiter Versuch, nachdem sich in #46732 die Zweiteiligkeit der Fühlerkeule nicht erkennen und damit die Art nicht festmachen ließ. Gleicher Fundort, zwei Tage später: 25.05.2016, Fränkische Schweiz, Leutenbach-Ortspitz, im Haus (gemessen: 2,5 mm). Ist das nun Anthrenus museorum? Zur Fühlerkeule siehe Foto B.
