On this page you can find photos submitted by users. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case at least a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: 10.06.2016 3 mm. Orchestes alni alt = Rhynchaenus alni. Hier bleibt zuallerst einmal die Frage, welcher Honk den O. alni genannt hat, denn der sitzt bei uns immer! auf den ulmenresten und nie auf Erlen oder Eschen.

Request: 10.06.2016 < 2 mm. Nephus redtenbacheri. Leider nur das Foto, ließ sich von Stamm fallen. Zeichnung mit angedeuteter mittiger Rundung, Haare anliegend und nicht borstig wie bei S. suturalis. Dieser hat zudem keinen Wirbel, der Käfer auf dem Foto hat derer zwei wie es sein sollte.

Comment: Hallo Bergmänndle, das ist Phaedon armoraciae. Eine sehr lobenswerte Fotodokumentation. Ohne das Foto von der Unterseite, hätte ich den vermutlich nur als Phaedon cf. armoraciae bestätigen können (Indizien: Fundpflanze, 5 große Fühlerkeulenglieder, während P.c. meist nur 4 hat und nicht eindeutig rot an den Spitzen der ersten beiden Fühlerglieder, wie P.c. meistens). Mit der Unterseite, sieht man aber das rot gerandete Analsternit und das macht die Bestimmung P.a. eindeutig. Danke für die Meldung. Viele Grüße, Holger
