On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Lampyris... iberica or noctiluca?
I don't know if they are the same species (female and male)... I found the male dead
Species, family:
Lampyridae sp.
Lampyridae
Comment: Hi MiguelBk, the southwestern Lampyridae are very difficult in their identification. I don't know a family-specialists for them. Sorry. It would be possible by an examination of the specimen itself only. Best regards, Thomas

Request: 29.06.2016 krabbelte an meiner Hauswand hoch. Größe ca. 10 mm
Species, family:
Galeruca sp.
Chrysomelidae
Sorry Holger
