On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Kleine Frage: Ich könnte mich gerade selbst ohrfeigen! Mein Seidelbast stirbt seit letztem Herbst langsam ab. Heute habe ich gemeinsam mit den Gärtnern den verbleibenden Stumpf des Strauches inspiziert. Erst als die Gärtner etwas von irgendwelchen Sch... käfern sagten, da hat's bei mir geklingelt. Ist das wohl zu glauben??? Der tote Teil des Holzes war voller Schlupflöcher (Bild B). Die Innenseite der restlichen Rinde war voll von Frassgängen (Bild A). Ein einzelner Käfer wurde bei der Inspektion leider zu einem kopfloses Fragment :-( (Bild C). Mein Gedanke dazu wäre Agrilus sp.. Da ich noch ein (leider sehr kleines) Stückchen Holz habe, das noch nicht abgestorben aber nun leider geschält ist, kommt die Frage an Euch: Lohnt es sich, damit eventuell noch etwas auszuzüchten??? Oder braucht das Tier zur Ausreifung die intakte Rinde??? 22.07.2016 Aargau, Oberfrick auf ca.370 m üNN ausserhalb der MTBs. Danke für Eure Geduld mit meiner Fragerei! LG Chris

Comment: Hallo Chris, das ist Agrilus integerrimus, die einzige unserer Agrilus-Arten, die sich (bei uns ausschließlich) an Daphne mezereum entwickelt. Von Spanien bis Südrussland, einschließlich ganz Italien. In Deutschland RL 3, nur in Baden-Württemberg nicht selten. Hab ihn aber selbst noch nie gefunden. LG, Christoph

Comment: Hallo Karin, bestätigt als Bruchidius imbricornis. An unsere fleißigen Melder aus dem süddeutschen Raum: Augen auf nach der Geißraute (Fotos B und C). Man findet sie z.B. an Straßenrändern oder im Randbereich von Industriegebieten. Probiert mal, ob ihr den B. imbricornis darauf finden könnt (Foto A) und meldet ihn hier. LG, Christoph :)
