On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Comment: Hi DJHiker, in this case we can just determine the subfamily Cetoniinae. We would need a photo of the lower side to judge the shape of the prolongation of the mesosternum. Likely Cetonia aurata, but not for sure. Best regards, Christoph

Request: 25.07.2016 - Polydrusus sp.? LG Chris
Species, family:
Polydrusus sericeus
Curculionidae
Comment: Hallo Chris, Du liegst mit Deinem Favoriten richtig: Bestätigt als Polydrusus sericeus. LG, Christoph
