On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

Request: Hallo,
Intervall zu erkennen :-) Also Abax.
Species, family:
Abax parallelepipedus
Carabidae
Comment: Moin Kalli, Du liegst goldrichtig. Mehr kann man nicht sagen. :-) Viele Grüße, Klaas

Species, family:
Cryptocephalus sericeus
Chrysomelidae

Request: Found last weekend in South Poland, sunny meadow, at altitude about 750 meters. I suppose you can answer C. obscura or C. paradoxa, but I check this comparison: [Link removed] Moreover, in Poland C. paradoxa was found only two times, in 1885, in Tatry Mountain. Therefore I say: Cantharis obscura.
Species, family:
Cantharis obscura
Cantharidae
Comment: Hi Inja, and the same with that one: Cantharis obscura. Regards, Klaas

Request: Am 24.06.2013 in S.-H., Timmend.

LG, Christoph

Request: 26.6.2013 kleiner 1 cm, Waldrand, Mischwald, Eichen, Buchen, Haselnusssträucher, evtl. Curculio nucum
Species, family:
Curculio cf. glandium
Curculionidae
