On this page you can find photos submitted by users from the start in 2012 till the shutdown in 2023. If possible, the species are identified by the kerbtier.de ID team. Sometimes determination by photo only is impossible, in this case a hint on family and genus and potential species will be given.

It can be Entomoscelis adonidis?
Species, family:
Entomoscelis cf. adonidis
Chrysomelidae
Comment: Hi Civi, this is Entomoscelis adonidis with a high likelyhood. This would be an extremely rare find in Germany, but as far as I know this species is not as rare in Slovakia. Entomoscelis suturalis and sacra are two other species from that genus which might reach your region but I did not find any current records for these two in Slovakia. Is is clearly not sacra but if suturalis would be (stil ?)present it is almost impossible to distinguish these two from fotos alone. Therefore I put the cf. Best regards, Holger

LG, Christoph
